Media Advisory: Valley Families Unite Teams Up with Community Organizers  To Call on Rep. Calvert to Fully Fund WIC

Corona, California – Valley Families Unite will join Corona community organizers and CA-41 constituents for a light-up rally to call on Congressman Ken Calvert to do his part to  fully fund WIC and protect SNAP, programs that many working families rely on, and to avert a government shutdown.

WHAT: Rally and light projection calling on Rep. Ken Calvert to vote to fully fund WIC and protect SNAP in government funding negotiations.

WHERE: Magnolia Ave overpass along the 15 freeway, Corona, CA Near Magnolia Ave and El Sobrante Rd
